Low Torning is one of the Ninety Isles. It was home of Pechvarry. Besides fishing, the people there farmed barley. Low Torning was the first island that Ged served as wizard after he left Roke island, sent there by Archmage Gensher. While there he befriended a boatmaker called Pechvarry.
