Jasper is an apprentice wizard with whom Ged has a rivalry at the Magic School on Roke.

Early life[]
Little is known about Jasper's early life except that he was born to Enwit.
The School for Wizards[]
At some point he began attending the School for Wizards on Roke Island. Ged disliked him immediately for his smirk and arrogance. Jasper challenged Ged to show his power, leading him to perform extremely dangerous magic by summoning a dead spirit.
Later Life[]
Jasper left Roke the same summer as when Ged summoned the shadow. He went to the Island of O to be sorcerer in the Lord's household at O-tokne. He never got his staff.
