Estarriol of Iffish is an apprentice wizard who befriended Ged when Jasper introduced him. His true name is Estarriol but his use name is Vetch. He is the brother of Yarrow (Kest) and Murre. He accompanied Ged when he went to face his own shadow. He is a few years older than Ged. He only appeared in A Wizard of Earthsea but he was mentioned in other novels by Ged.
In later years, Estarriol sent a boy to Roke who would eventually become the Master Summoner after Thorion.
